the classical “goldfinger” scene that shows 007 receving his first aston martin (the DB5) from Q. pay atention at the lines that will be reproduced at “die another day” (different car, different bond, different Q) into a beautifull homage.

Llewelyn, it was an honor to have him as Q, may he rest in peace
gorgeous car and my personal favourite.
@armjay In the books, Bonds personal car was a Bentley – his spy car previous to this was an Aston Db2/4 mk 3.
@Overlord0108 Well…nearly. This car is DB5 chassis 216/1, a prototype DB5 shown at the Earls Court show to introduce the model (hence the non-standard details). This is the car that, after filming, was stripped of the gadgets by the factory, sold as a standard road car, and the owner had the ‘modifications’ refitted in the aftermarket (Kent restorations). The car was stolen from storage in Florida in 1997 and has never been seen since.
Boy, there would be a lot fewer horrible drivers on the road if I had one of these Aston Martins!! “CUT ME OFF, WILL YOU?!?! HERE, EAT A FEW ROUNDS OF MY FRONT WING MACHINE GUNS!!” “TAILGATE THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS OUT OF ME, WILL YOU?? Here’s a sharp curve with a 1000-foot cliff. Time for an oil slick!” “Use your high beams behind me for no excellent reason?? Try to drive through a smoke screen, with a tractor trailer coming at us ….. “What fun ….. LOL
Quite possibly this scene was my first boyhood crush on a car.
@KiloByte69 my favorite bond car is dbs
fantastic scene. as for the people saying this is not a db5, you are incorrect. i know these cars pretty well, as my dad has a db4 and db6. just because there is no badge, it doesnt mean that it is not a db5. the producers of the movie probably bought a 80 or 90% complete car since they knew they would be modifying and eventually wrecking it in the movie. db5′s have a very distinct body style, using the rear styling of a db4 and the foreward styling of a db6. lastly, there was never a db4 vantage…
R.I.P. Q
Thumbs up if you FANTASIZE of someday buying an 1960s Aston Martin DB5!
And DOUBLE thumbs up for…
“Whoosh!”
“Ejector seat, you’re joking!”
“I never joke about my work, 007!”
You never did, Q…and Nobody Did It Better!
A primeira das supermáquinas da frota de James Bond: Aston Martin DB5,Lotus Spirit,Aston Martin DBS,Aston Martin Volcane,Aston Martin Vantage,Aston Martin Vanquish,BMWZ3,BMW Z8,BMW 750i e outro carro que mereceria ser incluido nesta frota teria de ser a Ferrari Enzo Ferrari
@DarkTrackstar
back in 1964??
and even if there was, I thought that was designed to take out stationary objects, not some car going 100mph. Some villains is going to pack that in his car and shoot at Bond from a chase car???
My favorite Bond car.
@bigglesploof Technically, its a DB4 Vantage, still doesn’t stop it from being one of the most gorgeous cars ever made though, all Astons are incredible, regardless of the type, much better than any other cars.
This is really not a DB5. I you look at the back of the car and the side you’ll see there is no DB5 badge, as the car is in fact a DB4. Also, this car is slightly smaller than the DB5.
@Akabuena k thanks u 2 lol
@LeBronFilms me too
@DarkTrackstar yea right bout that, 9mm wuld be nuthin, 357 or 44 wudnt as well but barrett, shiit thats a whole different tale. thumbs up bout wut u wrote tho
@Akabuena i bet if it was bulletproof, it would be bulletproof to maybe a 9mm, or a .357, and i doubt even the 7.62
@DarkTrackstar ahaha, the window bullet proof dont count against that weapon lol. even the AA12 with the explosive bullets culd do hurt but if its the barrett, farewell db5
Arghhh , sold again…. and I was nt available for this …… Too sad
One of the most gorgeous car
Classic car, check our profile out for a fantastic DB5 replica!
Clearly they haven’t seen the Barrett 50 cal…
its kinda weird that bond always needs the EXACT same things that they give him….noting more nothing less
i like the DB5 <3
