@XxTrooKxX let us know if those airbags work ;)

Question : safercar.gov shows 4 star for rollover where risk to rollover is 10.9% and only 4 stars. I know another midsize car which has 5 stars and risk of rollover is only 9.7%. — expecting your comments .

This video is nice and I like this new Cruze, but GM should aim at delevopping their Reliability into these commercials, not only promoting Safety… (i.e) When someone buy a Toyota Corolla, they are not making the buy of a Corolla because the car have 6 Air bags, noooo…. They are purchasing a Toyota because it will give them peace of mind, those peoples wants a car that is reliable, a car that will drove them from point A to Point B without any Worries… Still a nice Car though…

Like this car can’t wait to get a job so I can get the Black LTZ RS one that i want.

  9. 83ChevyImpala says:

    @Dylan1191698 A Pontiac Caprice WTF ?

  10. Dylan1191698 says:

    @83ChevyImpala

Chevrolet is releasing a rebadged version of the Pontiac G8 named the Caprice, but it is ONLY being sold to the police and state troopers. There are no plans for a civilian version.

  11. LegoFreakPictures says:

    Now I REALLY want one

  12. 83ChevyImpala says:

@Dylan1191698 So is Chevy going to bring the Caprice back or what ?

  13. 123dodgecharger says:

hmm i thinking of getting myself one. Btw the person who dislike this must be a ford fan.

  14. Dylan1191698 says:

    @83ChevyImpala

No, its a replacement for the Cobalt. Besides, the Cruze is a compact, not a barge like the Caprice.

  15. 540merlin says:

Cool video. I wonder how my 69 Camaro would do in those tests?

  16. gardmans1 says:

    Chevy’s are finally strong !

  19. creeper021to702 says:

    wow excellent car

  20. 83ChevyImpala says:

Chevy Cruze, is this supposed to be the new Chevy Caprice or what ?

  21. LHS91 says:

omg shorten it to 30 seconds (somehow…?) and place this all over T.V. as a commercial! Fantastic job Chevy.

  22. Motorfordtoyota says:

I like this Cruze, it is overall probably the best value car in America. But @ 1:16 sorry Chevy, Toyota used knee airbags before you, Im not sure about in the Corolla (I reckon they do) but, in most other modles they do. But I would definately buy one of these, espeacially since gas prices are estimated 5.00 dollars a gallon by 2012.

  23. omegatotal says:

@chevroletman007 there is a mute button, i didn’t find anything incorrect with the vid

  24. seinfeldfan7898 says:

    wow

  25. chevroletman007 says:

could have done without the music

  26. Reparo96 says:

i like the car and the name but the front grill and lights look too similar to a mitsubishi lancer evo x

  27. MrCker says:

reminds me of the aveo. does not look like nothing new and fresh.

  28. chbrules says:

ABOUT FREAKIN TIME. Ho-lee crap, American car mfgs. You now JUST getting your heads out of your asses? Naw, we really need another Hummer line of cars. LARGER IS BETTER! Right?

  29. ZeroGal5 says:

wow, like this car! i’ll miss the Aveo name though, but Sonic does sound a bit more fun. but wow, this sure has come a long way since the first gen Aveo. can’t even compare the two!

  30. GoWfan86 says:

@xubanohx @ghettobrown209 Holy balls, someone else besides me thought the sedan looked like a baby Lancer, too!

  31. MeeTeeDee says:

Really cool car…. I like the new name, it just sounds more fun :)

  32. xubanohx says:

    LANCER!!!!!!!!!!

  33. Nettikturbo says:

Guys, this isn’t half terrible! 1.4 turbo, 6MT, sedan. Probably pretty light ~ 2900 lbs ~40mpg…

sounds like a decent around the town money saver!

  34. socom6 says:

Id rather drive this than a sucky Yaris or a me too Fit. This new Sonic has individuality, although i wish they kept the Aveo name to prove how far of an improvement this car really is.

  35. ghettobrown209 says:

2007 Mitsubishi Lancer Sports Sedan AKA 2011 chevy sonic

  36. TRIvEDGE says:

@FrederickGFX Still I would like if GM had stayed with the AVEO RS rather than this. Also I dont really like that name… Sonic :(

  37. TRIvEDGE says:

@lawnmowerdude The headlights and tail lights r not the same, same with the breaks and the sides detail at the front. It had changed. I still like it but the Aveo RS concept was better.

Check on youtube Aveo RS and you will see what I mean

  38. lawnmowerdude says:

@TRIvEDGE What are you talking about? This car looks extremely similar to the Aveo RS.

  39. FrederickGFX says:

@TRIvEDGE The RS was just a show car. I agree it was gorgeous and I wish the Sonic stayed more right to that design. But in the end this will still be (in my opinion) the nicest looking sub compact on the market. It’s also got strong engine options, a fantastic looking interior, and more cargo space. This car looks to be a real winner. If they managed to get the driving dynamics right there will be no excellent reason to buy any other sub compact.

  40. roi432 says:

There is only 3 words to describe this incredible car made by chevrolet..Honda Fit Killer…………

  41. TRIvEDGE says:

so…. what happened to the aveo RS with the really cool headlights and features :( ?

  42. Krashdavus says:

Fantastic ad, music score is brilliant. Very “Transformer-ish”. Nice job.

  43. byronmohawk says:

I’m really proud of you, GM. Like I said on the 2012 Buick Verano video, you sure are kicking butt these days. Hire me when I get my Master’s please! It would be my dream to work for you!!!!!!!!!

  44. dpritikin says:

The song was written and produced by SOUTH Music and Sound Design

  45. dtownkid says:

  46. NTownBK says:

I heard the Corvette guys did the suspension on this. Chevy is serious!

  47. triplexxxsatyr says:

Gettin’ it right, Chevy! Well done, guys.

  48. discoverymoi says:

I thought it was the new Aveo. this car is fantastic. I like like all the rest of the chevrolet.
